According to a report by Bloomberg, Apple is reducing the daily budget of its engineering teams for artificial intelligence. This move marks a significant change in the company’s approach to integrating the technology into its operations. The company had previously spent a lot of time developing systems and applications that integrated AI into its processes.

The daily spending limit for the company’s AI teams has reportedly been decreased from $300 to $200. Bloomberg also reported that some allowances will be cut to around $100 a day. Apple has not responded to requests for comment. In addition, the outlet noted that outside of engineering, the company is reportedly considering a limit of $25 a day for its employees.

A wave of token Enhancing swept through the tech industry earlier this year, with many companies pushing their employees to use AI in order to improve their efficiency. However, the frenzy quickly ended when the bills for the said tokens came due. Instead of implementing a strict budget for AI, many companies decided to adopt token rationing as a more fiscally prudent approach. There are still concerns about the potential cost of implementing AI and the productivity gains it is supposed to provide.

According to a report, Apple is reducing its internal budget for AI usage. Bloomberg claimed Wednesday that the company is now limiting the daily allotment of its engineers to spend on the technology. This move marks an important change in the company’s approach to integrating AI into its operations.
